Extraordinary things happen when you get creative with the
Magnifica. Here are a few great coffee recipes that should
help get you started on the exhilarating road of making the
most of your super automatic espresso machine.
Ristretto A shorter extraction that creates a thicker, more flavorful
coffee with less volume.
1. Brew espresso directly into a demitasse (espresso) cup (ideal
volume: 1/2 ounce to 3/4 ounce)
Espresso
Lungo A longer extraction that produces a larger volume.
Serve with a small pitcher of hot water on the side.
1. Brew espresso directly into a demitasse (espresso) cup (ideal
volume: 1 ounce to 1 1/2 ounces)
Cappuccino
1. Prepare steamed milk
2. Brew a single espresso directly into a cappuccino cup
3. Add equal parts steamed milk and spoon milk foam on top
The finished drink will be approximately 1/3 part each espresso,
steamed milk and milk foam.
Caffè
Latte
1. Prepare steamed milk
2. Fill 2/3 of glass with steamed milk
3. Add 2 spoonfuls of milk foam on top of steamed milk
4. Brew a single espresso and pour slowly down side of glass
Cappuccino
Viennese Style
1. Brew a single shot of espresso directly into a cappuccino
cup
2. Add equal parts hot chocolate and whipped cream
3. Garnish with a sprinkling of cocoa and cinnamon
The finished drink will be approximately 1/3 part each espresso,
hot chocolate and whipped cream.

Macchiato
1. Prepare milk foam
2. Brew a single espresso directly into a demitasse (espresso)

3. Top with a dollop of milk foam
Espresso
Con Panna
1. Brew a single shot of espresso directly into a cappuccino
cup
2. Add whipped cream without sugar
3. Garnish with a sprinkling of cocoa and cinnamon
Iced
Espresso
Iced Cappuccino
1. Fill a shaker halfway with ice
2. Pour 8 ounces cold 2% milk over the ice
3. Brew 2 shots of espresso and add to shaker
4. Shake vigorously. Pour into 16 ounce glass and garnish with
whipped cream if desired.
Iced
Carmelotto
1. Fill shaker halfway with ice
2. Add 1 tablespoon of chocolate syrup
3. Add 1 tablespoon of caramel syrup
4. Add 8 ounces of cold 2% milk
5. Brew 2 shots of espresso and add to shaker
6. Shake vigorously. Pour into 16 ounce glass and garnish with
whipped cream and caramel topping.
Iced
Biscotti
1. Fill a shaker halfway with ice
2. Add 1 tablespoon of chocolate syrup
3. Add 8 ounces of cold 2% milk
4. Add 1 tablespoon of hazelnut syrup
5. Brew 2 shots of espresso and add to shaker
6. Shake vigorously. Pour into 16 ounce glass and garnish
with whipped cream and chopped hazelnut.
